TOP TEN HAUNTED HOTELS
COLORADO Stanley Hotel - You may have heard of this one in the movie, "The Shining". Children have been heard playing, things in the rooms have been disturbed with no one there, and there have been many unexplained noises. The now deceased owner apparently still enjoys listening to music, and there is said to be quite a bit of activity on the fourth floor.
KANSAS Beaumont Hotel - At one time the Beaumont was a stagecoach stop. If you stay overnight in the Beaumont, you could enter your room and find that things have been moved around since the last time that you were there. Radios and alarm clocks seem to have minds of their own, and come on in the middle of the night.
LOUISIANA Provincial Hotel - If you are going to spend the night in this hotel, your radio may display a penchant for certain radio stations. You may also walk into your room and see scenes from the Civil War.
OREGON Heathman Hotel - Do not worry if you happen to be a lonely traveler. You may check in alone, but that does not mean that you will sleep alone. The thing is, you may not be able to see who it is that is sharing your bed!
NORTH CAROLINA Carolina Inn - If you are relaxing in your room, don't be surprised if someone checks the doorknob to see if it is locked. You may also end up locked out of your room.
NEW YORK Sagamore Hotel - You may be awakened by an old lady, peering closely into your face. Don't be too concerned though, as she will usually leave to do the same thing to the other guests.
SOUTH DAKOTA Bullock Hotel - The Bullock may be one of the safest hotels around with the resident sheriff keeping the peace in his hotel. The strange thing about the Sheriff is that he died many years ago.
PENNSYLVANIA Hotel Conneaut - The employees sometimes insist on working in pairs due to the activity going on throughout the hotel. Perhaps the guests should consider not staying here alone.
CALIFORNIA The Georgian Hotel - A former speakeasy, this hotel is now a favorite spot for many Hollywood celebrities, both alive and dead. Depending on which group you run into might determine if you get an autograph or not.
TEXAS The Menger Hotel - If you stay in the Menger, you might run into a bevy of guests. Some of them you may see, and some you may not. The long-term residents of the Menger seem to go about their business without much concern for the short-term guests.
