Gettysburg Ghostly Encounters - August 2001

In 2001, Courtney, My daughters from a previous marriage and myself went on a vacation/investigation of Gettysburg. While we did get alot of very good pics and some evps of the boys, There was 1 event that stumped us all, Including some friends we made up there. 1 night while at Sachs Bridge, We were all up there talking amongst ourselves, It was Courtney, My girls, Dan, Adam and myself. Dan and Adam are 2 of the people we came to know up there as good friends (It was w/ Adam that I got the evp that said "Get out of here" down the trail by sachs bridge and also heard the rail tappings w/) We were on the side of the bridge near the hand-cap ramp just shooting the breeze, When all of a sudden, A fog started rolling in from 1 end of the creek. Nothing special you may think until this happened, Then some more fog rolled in, But this time it came from underneath the bridge and was headed towards the other fog. When they both met each other, It began to spiral up and twist like a tornado. It was so cool to see that occur. Now it may not be paranormal (It sure seemed like it to all of us, As we all sat and said that that just doesnt happen by itself), But it was very interesting to say the least. After a few minutes of spiralling up, It just went away, And there was no more fog at all. I had my video recorder, But it was in the car at the time, And it happened soo fast and we were soo intrigued by it, That I didnt think to get the camcorder, And I wish I had.

While we were at Little RoundTop, I proceeded to go off by myself for a few mins. I crawled over some of the boulders and proceeded down a trail. Up ahead of me there was some big boulders to my right, And I looked up and what I saw made me freeze right there. What I was seeing was a headless union soldier. He may not have been headless, But where his head was suppose to be, All I saw was a very dark blurred area. It lasted a grand total of 10-20 seconds and he vanished.

My wife, Courtney, Upon arrival at Sachs Bridge, Got violently sick. No one else got sick and she felt better after we left.

While I was walking back from the woods from the Triangular Field, I had my flashlight knocked out of my hand. I immediately took a pic and above my flashlight was a very well defined orb.

Me and a friend I met there by the name of Adam, Were walking down the trail by Sachs Bridge, That leads out to the corn field, And Adam said he didnt want to go any further, And we stood there for a minute to talk, And All of a sudden I felt a pinch on my left leg. It felt like a cold/icey hand. When I listened to my recorder, There was a evp that said "Get out of here".

While at East Calvary Field, At around 3:30pm, I saw a man walking towards us on the field. I looked away for a sec or 2, And proceeded to look back out to the field (Now this man was in the middle of the field and would not have had time to run to the woods. He was in ragy clothes and had on what looked like a southern-style hat) and when I did, I didnt see him again. Possible ghost of 1 of JEB Stuarts men? Who died in the woods around that area.

At 1 of the visitors centers near little roundtop, At 5:50am (I was waiting for the park to open), I saw a cannon shotfire over some trees across from the visitors center, At that time, I know no one was re-inacting.

While we were at Devils Den, We were walking down the trail at the Slaughter Pen, And we all heard "Dixie" being played (There were no cars playing music and hardly anyone there at the time.
