Reincarnation is the belief that when you die, you or an essential part of you, soul, spirit, essence, whatever you call it, will return to earth, take up another body and start life all over again. This belief is widely skeptical, and researched by millions. In the process of reincarnation an individual may possibly have dreams or visions in the form of Past Life Regression. These visions or dreams could pinpoint what that individual was or did during his/her past life. This phenomenon also could lead to new historical breakthroughs, evidence proving reincarnation, or just the benefit of the doubt.
Through the ages, ways of past life regression came in really only two forms, vision and dreams. Now in the age of the psyche a third form has spawned. This form is known as hypnosis, or the commanding of the mind. If a person is hypnotized he/she can be asked to go back through time and look onto past lives and historic events during their lives. Now this technique is growing ever so popular in finding out peoples past lives and events.

One of the biggest arguments against the theory of reincarnation is the fact that we do not remember our past lives. There is a very good reason for this. Imagine having to cope with this life and all that it brings, if you had clear memories of everything you had seen or done, and everyone you had ever met before in your past lives.

One of the winning arguments for reincarnation are the child prodigies. It is argued that the only way these children could possibly know and do what they do is because they remember it from another life. A three-year old boy walked into the Museum of Natural History in New York City and began explaining about the dinosaurs on display. He showed intelligence and, upon careful questioning, had information that not even the aged scientists knew.

Although we think we cannot remember our past lives, we really do to a certain extent, if only in very short flashes or deja vu. (All this has happened to me before!) Experience is very common, and very few people will admit that they have not felt like that at one time or another. There is always that person that you feel you have met before, as well as that street you walked down or that foreign language you find yourself speaking, on occasion.

One example of past life regression and dream state, is from Operations Director Jonathan Williams from Soul Trackers International Paranormal Investigations based out of Pitman, NJ. Williams experience dates back to the 90's where he formed paranormal investigations organizations and spawned a revolutionary new form of investigator. Since 1998 Director Williams formed organizations like Paranormal Spiritual Investigations, South Jersey Ghost Research, New Jersey Paranormal Research, and now since 2001, Soul Trackers. He has investigated over 4,000 locations throughout the world to include The Alamo (Texas), East State Penitentiary (Pennsylvania), Mt. Osore (Japan), and Gettysburg Battlefield (Pennsylvania). Williams has also been documented in the New York Times, Cablevision TV, Westwood One Radio, and The Lou Gentile Show.

In December of 2000 Williams and his organization New Jersey Paranormal Research set out to investigate sites throughout Gettysburg Battlefield and borough. During the excursion NJPR came across a house in the center of town that used to be a hospital during the war on Main St. The team with the cooperation of the client investigated the house for several hours under nighttime surveillance and evidence gathering.

The team first came into the house and quickly felt something in the air. Several investigators felt presence of something other than the team and the clients in the house. Upon unpacking equipment, investigators took the clients into separate rooms and performed interviews, walkthroughs of the house with audio, video, and pictorial equipment, as well as, mapping out of the residence took place. The house consisted of a basement, with one laundry room, the first floor that housed the living room, kitchen, dining room, and den. The second floor was two bedrooms, and bathrooms, and the Attic where several encounters took place.

After interviewing and walking through the residence, the team decided to set up video surveillance throughout the house via a multilateral camera system, infrared motion sensors in the basement and attic, pictorial camera equipment sporadically placed through the house, and audio recorders. This equipment was then supported with several free roaming investigator patrols through the house with camera, audio, and electromagnetic detection equipment.

With all the equipment set up and the investigators and clients ready to start the night out. The team called out "Blackout" and all lights in the house cut off preparing for a several hour investigation. During this investigation, Administrator Williams started a roaming team with Head Investigator Chris Williams (Now With Soul Trackers), Asst. Administrator Micheal Dieser (Formed New Jersey Ghost Research), Investigator Dave Bianchi (Now With New Jersey Ghost Research), Hildred Robinette (Now With Soul Trackers), and two clients.

The team started in the basement and started to take pictures revealing several possible locations of spiritual activity, as well as, cold spots indicating possible spiritual locations. They then preceded upstairs into the living room where there was several small encounters with cold spots or positive digital pictures with orbs in the photos. According to Soul Trackers Investigations "There are several possible theories on Orbs. Orbs are in lots of evidence gained by paranormal investigations, whether it is in photos, video, or line of sight. Orbs are mostly Spherical, but can be Square, or Diamond shapes. Orbs are in our definition Spherical Balls of energy enclosing a spirit. The spirit can be still or in movement, but still remain the condensed version that is an orb. One theory of an orb is that it could be the spirit in flight or travel. Another theory of an orb is it might be the most energetic part of the body at the time of death for a being, its head or brain. I say being because it could be an animal, or human form. The brain is the most energetic, psychic part of the body. When a being dies, it becomes inoperative, meaning motionless and unable to comprehend what has happened. The soul of the being when it dies still has its thought process in its mind and still functions as if it is still awake and living. When a person takes pictures, its mostly the energy of the spirit it catches on film, and if the head has the most energy, the evidence captures its condensed energy. Numerous times Soul Tracker's investigators have captured orbs in their evidence, and numerous times they have found after enhancing the evidence, faces of spirits inside the orbs."

After completing the first floor sweep, the team proceeded upstairs into the second floor where they met up with Investigator Elaine Lee (Retired) and another client. On the second floor they encountered very little, in the forms of digital photos and a few sounds. After a small sweep of the second floor they proceeded up to the attic where they experienced the mass amounts of evidence and psychic feedback.

In the attic, our two Psychics Hildred Robinette, and Elaine Lee felt entities present along with feelings from Jonathan Williams and Micheal Dieser. Williams started to feel a presence standing right next to him in the darkness of the attic. Several entities could be heard in the audio recording and through Micheal Dieser's Bionic Ear he had in his ear at the time to enhance sound quality and capabilities. We asked several questions and received several replies, for example, the team asked the spirits their names. Several replies came about with the support of audio equipment, psychic feedback, and audible listening by the investigators themselves, which only happens on rare occasions. The investigators picked up, Caleb Foster, and several other names. At that point the team asked, "How did you die?"

At that moment, Williams picked up in his mind, "I was shot in the back." The psychics concurred, as well as, audio recordings supported his answer.

They then asked, "Why are you still here?"

Williams picked up again "I didn't say goodbye to my wife." Again evidence concurred with the investigators statements.

Williams felt an entity standing next to him; a strong feeling, then he felt the entity slowly entering his body, standing half inside his body, half outside. In the darkness the team focused on Williams. Then nothing but flashes erupted from the crowd of several investigators as they took photographs and picked up loads or orbs as well as visual night vision recordings of orb activities. Suddenly one more photoflash erupted and a gasp came from one of the clients looking at Williams in the dark. "Oh my god, I just saw someone, that was a double of him, standing half inside of him, but had a union uniform on." Stated the client.

Williams then remembered a week ago he had a dream, which stuck in his head, a woman's picture over his head while he lay down, floating away from him. Under the picture, the name Foster was in calligraphy. After that encounter the team went downstairs to regroup and report all findings. After careful examination of evidence from that house, Williams found out he was in that house before, as a Colonel Caleb Foster, from NH, a part of the Union Calvary, unknown statistics as of right now, as far as, unit, battle stats, etc.

Later on, the next year, Williams returned to Gettysburg with the Soul Trackers Team. While downtown, he entered an Antiques Store only to find a chest, which had "Col. C.W. Foster, NH" written on the top of it. Williams to this day, keeps researching the past life he once lived.

In closing, past life regression comes in many forms. Whether it be a dream, hypnosis, or just a fateful experience as Director Williams found out in his investigation. Either ways, reincarnation is out there in spirit and soul. Whether you believe it is totally up to you, that's what makes us human, the open mind.
